The firm A vault top 10 AmLaw firm are looking to appoint a junior corporate energy associate in one of their offices across the US with locations such as San Diego, New York, or Miami on offer. The team advises on some of the most significant energy and infrastructure projects in the market, including the financing and development of large-scale onshore and offshore wind farms, solar portfolio acquisitions, and cross-border energy transactions. What your day-to-day will look like * Conducting thorough and comprehensive legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation and strategy * Drafting reasoned and well-crafted legal documents such as memos, contracts, and correspondence. * Assist and manage a range of complex transactions from inception to closing including preparing for trials, negotiations, and settlements * Building strong client relationships and provide support and advice on a regular basis * Working closely with other legal professionals to develop cutting-edge transaction strategies About you You will have: * 1 - 3 years' experience in a relevant corporate, energy or infrastructure related transactions role. * Be admitted to the state bar of your desired office location * Knowledge on tax equity financings, structured financings, and complex investment arrangements is highly advantageous * Experience with Project finance and development, M&A, and joint venture transactions. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. * Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail. * Sound business judgement and a commercial mindset. * Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Confident and persuasive communicator, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
