What time did you wake up this morning?
6am and the sun was shining.

What’s your favourite object in your office?
My Mont Blanc pen.

Who is your closest colleague?
My secretary Maureen who has worked with me for over 15 years.

Do you have a favourite family heirloom?
My great grandfather’s pocket watch. He wore it in battle during the WW1.

What’s your favourite song of all time?
That’s a tough one; probably Woman by John Lennon as it reminds me of my late father.

What’s your favourite play?
War Horse. I am a huge history fan so loved this play.

Who’s your favourite movie star?
Male: Carrie Grant and Female: Audrey Hepburn.

What’s your favourite book?
The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory.

What book are you reading right now?
Churchill by Boris Johnson.

What book do you wish you had written?
Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus by John Gray.

What’s the greatest invention of all time?
The hairdryer: the world would be a very different place without them.

Is there a sport that you wish you could play?
I wish that I could snow board as well as ski.

Who inspires you in business?
My business partner Matthew Fleetwood from Beyond Professional Services. He has great vision and is a fantastic leader.

Dress up, dress down or somewhere in between?
Dress up every day.

Where do you go to relax?
The mountains. I love to ski and I also feel very relaxed when I’m in the Alps on a hot sunny day.

What country have you always wanted to visit?
Japan. I would combine a trip to Tokyo with a ski trip to Nippon.

Besides your phone, what do you always have with you?
Lipstick, perfume and a photograph of my children.

What’s the best part about your job?
The variety as no two days are the same. I also work with some very talented and dynamic people.

What’s your favourite post-work tipple?
In winter it has to be a large glass of Malbec and in the summer an Aperol Spritz.

Finally, what’s your guilty pleasure?
Eating mini eggs and watching the Real Housewives of Cheshire.
