Interim Litigation Lawyer / Paralegal

Commercial Litigation Lawyer / Paralegal Remote or hybrid: Cheshire 4 month FTC initially with a possibility of a permanent role I'm working with a privately owned group of companies based in Cheshire who would like a senior litigation paralegal or qualified lawyer to take ownership of several ongoing disputes. The role requires an immediate start and will continue until the end of January with the possibility of extension and a permanent role for the right individual. The role would involve: - Organising files and evidence in a number if ongoing disputes and liasing with external firms on these matters; - Creating a central tracking system and database; - Maintaining chronologies and action lists and monitoring timescales and deadlines; - Identifying matters requiring input from the business; - Preparing concise updates; - Liaising with the solicitors to provide information and follow up on outstanding actions. The person should be comfortable with the litigation process and confident dealing with senior lawyers. You should have strong organisational skills, judgement and discretion. The role would suit an experienced commercial litigator, either a paralegal, NQ or qualified lawyer looking for an interesting project to start immediately. The role can be office based in Cheshire or mainly remote depending on the individual.
